Domaine Beetschen: 42 years of expertise

Nestling in Bursins, between Geneva and Lausanne, Domaine Beetschen has a history as rich as the flavours of its wines. This wine estate was once a multi-purpose farm, with a few vines among the crops and livestock.

The winegrowing adventure began in 1982, when Frédy Beetschen decided to devote himself entirely to winegrowing. The first vintage, a 1983 Chasselas, marked the start of direct sales.

Over the years, the range of wines has expanded with the arrival of new grape varieties and the acquisition of new plots.

The estate began converting to organic farming in 2013.

In 2022, a new visual identity was unveiled, marking a new stage in the history of the estate.

A glass bottle, a work of art by Albin Christen

In addition to its exquisite contents, Diolipop is truly a work of art in its own right.

The silkscreen work on the bottle is simply elegant, yet it conceals a veritable visual treasure. Thanks to the unrivalled talent of Swiss artist Albin Christen, a majestic elephant emits a delicate bubble containing the name of the product in capital letters. This astonishing combination of art and beverage creates a striking aesthetic that instantly catches the eye of any viewer.

The little extra: If you place several bottles next to each other, shifting them further and further apart, you’ll discover the full design of the elephant and see the work in its entirety.

Diolipop transcends the boundaries of simple gustatory pleasure to become a complete sensory experience, where taste, sight and even imagination come together to offer a moment of escape and delectation. This experience goes beyond tasting to invite visual and tactile exploration, where each bottle becomes a window into a world of emotions and creativity. The gradual discovery of the hidden design adds a playful and intriguing dimension to this already exceptional drink, offering an even more rewarding and immersive experience for the senses.
